Adar Gandelsman
Adar Gandelsman (Hebrew: Adr Gndlsmn, born 5 December 1997) is an Israeli model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was Miss Israel 2017's first-place runner-up, and also won the title Miss Universe Israel 2017. Adar did not place in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant held in Las Vegas. Gandelsman, Miss Universe Iraq 2017, took a selfie with Sarah Idan during the pageant. Idan as well as her family emigrated from Iraq in December 2017 after she snapped a picture with Miss Israel. Miss Israel was also serving in the Israel Defense Forces at that moment. Gandelsman, who is Ashkenazi Jewish and immigrated from Brazil in 1992, took the photo.
